Two-day cruise: Pakali Ba to Janjanbureh
This trip brings together many highlights of the River Gambia, including Elephant Island, Baboon Island, Kuntaur and the Stone Circles of Wassu. Guests spend one night on the boat and enjoy meals on board, finishing with dinner at Janjanbureh Camp.
Three-day cruise: Tendaba Camp to Janjanbureh
A slower-paced journey with an extra day and night on the boat. The cruise starts in Tendaba with breakfast on board and includes a side trip into one of the creeks.
Lamin Lodge to Janjanbureh
The longer itinerary follows the river from Lamin Lodge toward the river mouth for dolphin searching, then continues past historic and natural stops including James Island, Bintang Bolong, Tendaba, Farafenni, Sofayama Creek, Kaur, Wassu and the Gambia River National Park area before reaching Janjanbureh.
Sunset Cruise
The Lamin Lodge programme describes a sunset cruise through the mangroves, with a welcome drink, traditional kora music and a buffet on arrival at Lamin Lodge.
